Gilette, Wisconsin Auction
2004
In the spring of 2004 I was invited, by the
auctioneer, to come to Gilette, Wisconsin for a large auction he was holding.
He had so many different pumps to be sold that he needed some help in
identifying them. In exchange for helping, he put my name on the sale
bill, stating that I would be there selling my Gas Pump Identification book.
This auction was filled with different
pumps, many were incomplete, but there was a number of great buys.
Also, be sure to look at the Johnson Oil
globe lens, this is why a lot of guys came to this auction.
